Our Farm

Well even if our blackberries are not doing much yet there are a few wild ones that are just as good. Not much going on here other then trying to keep caught up. Why is it you need a vacation from a vacation? Since we have not shopped since we have been back Monday will be a long day as it  DR apt for little one and then grocery shopping ugggg.  I have not seen my fridge and cupboard as bare since we have moved.  Thank goodness for the garden with the cukes and tomatoes  they are a tasty snack and the freezer full of beef. Been out weeding things  grass sure grows high  with 5 inch of rain over 4 days.  We mowed  and when we got back you could not even tell. Well we are back  it was a long driving trip but seemed so short our time in Montana.  We came home to  weather in the  90s and our ac not working  so we tried to fix it  got it working then the leak that we fixed last year came undone so we had a mini flood in our house now we got it working. There are many thing  that all ways seems to go wrong when we return.  Since being home  my phone cord broke so I can't download any pictures to my computer, my skimmer pump decided to spark and melt when I went to plug it in again. Weed have overran all my gardens  so will have to get out there and weed. Well but now that we are sorta back to normal for a few here is the link to our mini vacation.  I tried to label the best I could. Oh my following again today....til lunch then the boy needed a nap so I waited and told him I would head that way when he got up.   Well guess who came walking back pissed off.  Then he got everything he needed patched the hole  made a few rounds  had about  20 gallons of spray left and really blew the tire there had to be a gash in the tire about hands  width.  So now he is trying to fix it and I am trying to clean and get caught up.

Well we got up earlier then we normally do but not by much.  Hubby little one and I had breakfast and then headed out to check the cows.    Well little did we know that Little One and I would be having to follow hubby and tractor to the back field  as he sprayed just in case  something happend.  Looks like tomorrow we will be doing the same thing. So while waiting we stayed in ear range of the tractor, we set off to explore. I really wish I could have gotten pictures of all the butterflies that landed on us or the bike.  So this is where my day went bad.   Given where we are there is no local dump anywhere close by.  However it really pissed me off to ride back into a nice clearing  to find a heap of now junk but was someones prized things  such as trophies. This was the first pile and not even  100 yard from that was another dump pile.  This one made me sigh more as there was an old time oven that I have always wanted rusting away and beat up  to bad to save  would have been a cool
