Hot hot hot Still.....

Well we really have not been doing to much as it very hot here with heat indexes from 102-115 for the last few weeks.

Kiddo went up to her Aunt and Uncle's house but ended up getting sick so hubby went and go her. She was feeling bad for  about a day and a half and then she was back to normal.   Once she was feeling better  she wanted to go to the creek  so when little one napped hubby stayed home with him and kiddo and I  went.  It was fun  she caught 2 turtles we looked at them and then let them go.

Hubby did get the alley way cleaned out. Trees had grown in there so he cut them down so the cows and 4 wheeler could get through.  Well he did that and then the next day his eye was hurting  we just thought that  he got sawdust or something like that in his eye.  It continued to bother him and we could not see anything in it.  Well last night this is what we found in his eyelid  its a first for both of us.
Yes that is a tick on his eyelash that is how tiny it is.  Poor guy but its doing better now

Brad's Mom was down so we had supper with them and Brad's brother came back and said they saw a black bear in Granny's yard.   It not that far from our house see.

This is one way to Theodosia,  ( where we get some groceries, hardware store and such.)  This road has been closed due to high water since the lake is up.  This is normally  a small stream and you have to look down to see the water.

The whole family went down to the creek to the swimming hole it was great fun. Little one love it  and tried to help daddy and sissy catch crawdads or he was looking for rocks. sorry no pictures as we all got in and played and I left the phone at home.
Can you tell I am a handful  I was to be going to sleep.
