when it rains it pours and not in a good way

Well my shoulder is still being a pain.   Hubby has started to spray  the fence lines and such and when we checked cows tonight it seemed to be working.   Lately everything seems to be breaking first is was the sprayer for the 4 wheeler leaking, then today is was the motor for the tractor sprayer needed work and then a run to  his moms to get paper work signed.   So thinking it was going to be a great night  it was till we go a phone call from Florida   seems the compressor in  AC unit went out.   2 different estimates $2,100.00 to fix it  6-8 thousand to replace the whole unit.  Just when we thing we are going good.... bam.

So Mothers day is coming up.  Hubby asked me what I wanted.  Really he and the kids can't think of anything I like.  I know he is being nice however....I wish he would surprise me again like he did on my first mothers day.  He wrote me a poem in an online card as he was stationed in Greenland at the time.  Kiddo had been sick and I was worn out.  I have had the poem hung on ever wall of every house we have lived in except here as  still trying to find homes for all.


Well not much more going on here except trying to get  kiddo packed for the summer events  and find my house before  June.

Never forget critters have a mind of their own.   To bad you can't train them to come when they have medical issues.  But enough of that... The owner will have to figure out to do it.  We tried  many ways and said screw it.  Today was a day where we got up early.  At four am  Little One had uncovered himself and got cold and just  wanted to snuggle with Mommy.  This is better then getting up 3-4 times a night and I am not going to complain as he is growing up way to fast.  Then came time for Kiddo to get up where she had a melt down cause the night before she stepped in dog poop and it was on the bottom of her shoe and she demanded that hubby or I clean it for her. So then the water works and fit started but ended quickly.  After the Bus showed up we grabbed some breakfast then headed out to water our gardens and trees.  Then we had lunch and checked the cows. Well even if our blackberries are not doing much yet there are a few wild ones that are just as good. Not much going on here other then trying to keep caught up. Why is it you need a vacation from a vacation? Since we have not shopped since we have been back Monday will be a long day as it  DR apt for little one and then grocery shopping ugggg.  I have not seen my fridge and cupboard as bare since we have moved.  Thank goodness for the garden with the cukes and tomatoes  they are a tasty snack and the freezer full of beef. Been out weeding things  grass sure grows high  with 5 inch of rain over 4 days.  We mowed  and when we got back you could not even tell. Wow, this year is flying by...  So to catch you all up since I am 2 years behind on this.  So first off the kids are a freshman and a pre-K'er.  We have adopted a kitten that was dumped around our house. She is quite the little troublemaker/spitfire but so loveable and wants to be loved on.   It's calving season.  Now on top of all that we just bought 10 acres of land with a house that sat in the middle of our farm.  The house needs lots of work from not being shut up properly for 2 years.  I started a page to show the slow transformation of the place.  But that is where we are.  Both kids are loving school.  Kiddo is in Thespian and art clubs and I must say we are so proud of her.  The only freshmen in the math class of  Jr's and Sophomores also she is in Honors English and History.  Straight A's for our girl so far.  Little One loves school, all the ladies get a kick out of him as he does this thing where he raises his eyebrows its a riot.  But he is such a gentleman
