Well I just love the spring however there is so much to do.  Our garden is a weed fest as we were gone and it rained. However almost everything came up.  Our tomatoes have flowers!!

Anyway today we had to go look for a cow as she was not with the herd yesterday and she is one  who pushes you to get feed and is nosy hubby calls her straight talker and I call her stalker. tried to find her yesterday but the 4 wheeler broke down so after getting it fixed it was almost dark.  So this afternoon we found her and her new baby CC  (not sure if that will be the name it depends on its gender. But it looks similar to Cocoa  no picture yet as  I forgot my phone at home. So we only have one more cow that needs to have hers.

I am really enjoy the country life.  We have a bluebird house up and  they are using it.

besides the Bluebirds  we have  3 hummingbirds that come to the feeder  they are so fun to watch. They are a tad fast for the camera.

Some of pictures were taken over the weekend while we were visiting  Lisa and Dan.  We had a great time and learned a lot of tips and such for our humble little farm.

Never forget critters have a mind of their own.   To bad you can't train them to come when they have medical issues.  But enough of that... The owner will have to figure out to do it.  We tried  many ways and said screw it.  Today was a day where we got up early.  At four am  Little One had uncovered himself and got cold and just  wanted to snuggle with Mommy.  This is better then getting up 3-4 times a night and I am not going to complain as he is growing up way to fast.  Then came time for Kiddo to get up where she had a melt down cause the night before she stepped in dog poop and it was on the bottom of her shoe and she demanded that hubby or I clean it for her. So then the water works and fit started but ended quickly.  After the Bus showed up we grabbed some breakfast then headed out to water our gardens and trees.  Then we had lunch and checked the cows. Well even if our blackberries are not doing much yet there are a few wild ones that are just as good. Not much going on here other then trying to keep caught up. Why is it you need a vacation from a vacation? Since we have not shopped since we have been back Monday will be a long day as it  DR apt for little one and then grocery shopping ugggg.  I have not seen my fridge and cupboard as bare since we have moved.  Thank goodness for the garden with the cukes and tomatoes  they are a tasty snack and the freezer full of beef. Been out weeding things  grass sure grows high  with 5 inch of rain over 4 days.  We mowed  and when we got back you could not even tell. Wow, this year is flying by...  So to catch you all up since I am 2 years behind on this.  So first off the kids are a freshman and a pre-K'er.  We have adopted a kitten that was dumped around our house. She is quite the little troublemaker/spitfire but so loveable and wants to be loved on.   It's calving season.  Now on top of all that we just bought 10 acres of land with a house that sat in the middle of our farm.  The house needs lots of work from not being shut up properly for 2 years.  I started a page to show the slow transformation of the place.  But that is where we are.  Both kids are loving school.  Kiddo is in Thespian and art clubs and I must say we are so proud of her.  The only freshmen in the math class of  Jr's and Sophomores also she is in Honors English and History.  Straight A's for our girl so far.  Little One loves school, all the ladies get a kick out of him as he does this thing where he raises his eyebrows its a riot.  But he is such a gentleman
