 Well we were glad to have kiddo home for a week so she could watch little one while we ran our heifer in to doctor for pink eye.  Not fun at all  you would think by now she would know what to do but she is as stubborn as her owner ( Hubby, Kiddo or Ben)   So any how  Kiddo went back to her Aunt's.  Where I am sure she is getting spoiled rotten by riding horses :)  This week we have walked and walked trying to find and check on Miss Thunder (newest calf). With the cooler nights we are hoping that  Sunday has hers.  Is it sad that I want to get our bred and can't wait for them to have babies. I know they are young yet but would love our own little ones to check on.

 Oh and to my hubby and Kiddo    The snake was not a figment of my imagination!!!  There was a concrete wall  where we meet up to drop Kiddo off and a black snake was on it and my peeps were telling me I was crazy.

Never forget critters have a mind of their own.   To bad you can't train them to come when they have medical issues.  But enough of that... The owner will have to figure out to do it.  We tried  many ways and said screw it.  Today was a day where we got up early.  At four am  Little One had uncovered himself and got cold and just  wanted to snuggle with Mommy.  This is better then getting up 3-4 times a night and I am not going to complain as he is growing up way to fast.  Then came time for Kiddo to get up where she had a melt down cause the night before she stepped in dog poop and it was on the bottom of her shoe and she demanded that hubby or I clean it for her. So then the water works and fit started but ended quickly.  After the Bus showed up we grabbed some breakfast then headed out to water our gardens and trees.  Then we had lunch and checked the cows. Tried to catch the one that needs doctoring .... yeah attempt 5 still didn't work.  Then hubby and I had date time as I

Well even if our blackberries are not doing much yet there are a few wild ones that are just as good. Not much going on here other then trying to keep caught up. Why is it you need a vacation from a vacation? Since we have not shopped since we have been back Monday will be a long day as it  DR apt for little one and then grocery shopping ugggg.  I have not seen my fridge and cupboard as bare since we have moved.  Thank goodness for the garden with the cukes and tomatoes  they are a tasty snack and the freezer full of beef. Been out weeding things  grass sure grows high  with 5 inch of rain over 4 days.  We mowed  and when we got back you could not even tell. Wow, this year is flying by...  So to catch you all up since I am 2 years behind on this.  So first off the kids are a freshman and a pre-K'er.  We have adopted a kitten that was dumped around our house. She is quite the little troublemaker/spitfire but so loveable and wants to be loved on.   It's calving season.  Now on top of all that we just bought 10 acres of land with a house that sat in the middle of our farm.  The house needs lots of work from not being shut up properly for 2 years.  I started a page to show the slow transformation of the place.  But that is where we are.  Both kids are loving school.  Kiddo is in Thespian and art clubs and I must say we are so proud of her.  The only freshmen in the math class of  Jr's and Sophomores also she is in Honors English and History.  Straight A's for our girl so far.  Little One loves school, all the ladies get a kick out of him as he does this thing where he raises his eyebrows its a riot.  But he is such a gentleman
